August 2017 saw two bright South Australian organisations recognised in the National iAwards.
The iAwards are presented by the Australian Information Industry Association (AIIA). Held annually, the National Awards celebrate and acknowledge the inspiring achievements of home grown state finalists at the cutting edge of technology innovation.
Congratulations to the following:
- DST Group and Data61, winners of the Infrastructure & Platforms Innovation of the Year and the Research & Development Project of the Year for their Cross Domain Desktop Compositor project
- Life Whisperer Diagnostics Pty Ltd merit recipients of the Big Data/Machine Learning Innovation of the Year and Startup of the Year for their Life Whisperer project.
The gala event showcased shining examples of Australian innovation from entrepreneurs, community services, students, and the public sector. These results indicate an especially healthy state of affairs in South Australia.
