On Tuesday 11 December, ICT and Digital Government hosted the South Australian Government ICT Strategy 2018-2021 Forum at the Adelaide Joint Cyber Security Centre (JCSC). Attended by approximately 115 representatives from government and industry, the forum explored how the strategy will improve interaction with the South Australian business community.
The forum was opened by Dr Eva Balan-Vnuk, Executive Director of ICT and Digital Government, who reaffirmed the Premier’s commitment to a robust and secure digital platform. Hamish Cameron, Chief Information Officer of the Department for Child Protection, then gave an introduction on behalf of the ICT and Digital Board, which endorsed the strategy on 7 September. Chief Information Officer, Abhishek Singh, delivered an overview of the strategy before leading a panel Q&A session with other senior staff from the Office for Technology. The attendees were able to engage with those who were directly involved in the development of the strategy.
ICT and Digital Government will continue to build and develop partnerships with industry as it implements the strategic roadmap.
